FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn Updated (Sep. 11)

You fix the quest text for "A RElic Reborn" which is all good but what are you going to do about all those that spent limited gil on the wronog item? Where is the item switch? Where is the refund?

Talking about those who go "X is noob imma afk" or "wipe again I afk".

I once had a PUG garuda run (normal mode) with a certain scholar who raged non stop saying I was noob and unfortunately we were the only ones queuing. Therefore we kept getting placed in the same party. Each time he'd say he will just afk because I was in it. I'll admit I did cause a couple wipes, but after that he just stopped trying and went "Ichigo is noob I afk go back to WoW". Eventually someone would leave and we'd requeue. Up till the point he stopped queuing, and I cleared it on second attempt with that party.

A good waste of 2 hours.

So waiting for a party via Duty Finder as a dps> will the game kick me out while I'm in queue after 30 mins of waiting if I just stood there in game? What if I just want to enjoy the view? I would /sit my character on a ledge, cliff or town. The AFK timer forces casual players to keep moving or do something. Not all AFK'ers are trolls, some players got things to do IRL. I like my current FC and I don't want to miss the chat log. Will the game also kick me out for just standing there? Not all players are in the race to get to lv50 and get uuuuuuuber loot. The AFK timer is ultimately not open world friendly. It is something to keep trolls and unfortunately some casual players out of the game.

Making things work for the current population is only part of the plan. Many of these changes are so SE can open the sales floodgates again. (Digital game sales are still halted and retail stock is being artificially limited.)

While it does slow it down it was rather cheesy. If they are going to do a speed run dungeon it should be designed to be one, not something that is exploited.

They adjust the auto disconnect to not accept certain inputs or actions, so auto run ect wouldn't count, and it requires certain input or actions, ignoring repeated.
