Gold spammers are taking advantage of SEs limits.

The major problem with the GoldSellers are not the spamming really. People have to understand how GoldSellers works. They first have to have the in game gold to sell for cash. Where do you think they get the in game gold from ? Playing the game/grinding the game or hacking to another person account and transfer the gold. How many person are "employed" to grind? How many character are made for grinding ? Multi-box (notice this game haven even solve this simple thing. Too greedy maybe). You do know that the are going to flood the market with mats/gears and gold right ? Resulting a broken market if it goes big.

SE please just think of how much you guys have to put up with maximum characters problem in a server and also overloading it. How much Dev's money are being put into making another server / update or maintaining the server? Think of how much pain and headache SE's team have to go through everyday solving balance problem, server problem, patch problem, security, RP, etcs.

Think of mow many customers are being annoyed and turn off by the que in logging in to a server.

I maybe exaggerating a little bit but...

If it's true everything they are doing cost SE a lot of money and customers .

Has SE given any indication that they are even continuing to look into this issue? I know they banned 500+ accounts a while back but I've read nothing since. Surely SE is playing their own game; can't they can SEE this all this horrid spam? Does it honestly not bother them?

It is ridiculous to have to spend the first 5 or so minutes of every city-zone maneuvering through the (awful) blacklist/report dance.

Where are the GMs? Why aren't these gil-spamming cretins slapped in GM Jail? And, for heaven sake, where is r-click/b-list (and report)?

50 servers? Why can't one person's job be to jump on a server, see a spammer, ban the account. Move on to next server. Keep repeating. Surely they'll get tired of getting banned every hour?

I think that banning the accounts is an effort in futility. As long as people continue to buy the gil the RMT will keep coming back because the money is there. I propose they attempt to adopt a similar system to another MMO I have played called Eve Online, in which real money trade is permitted. They use game time as the currency. Players can purchase a one month game time subscription with real money or with in game gold and then sell it. You can't use this process to sell the time subscription for real money, its only a one way street. This allows players who want to purchase gold to buy these extensions with real money and then sell them on the market for gold, or it allows for players to play the game for free by getting a ton of in game money. This solution would put the money in the hands of SE rather than the gil sellers and provide the players who clearly are buying gold with a legitimate way to do so and would undercut the entire reason the gil sellers are in the game.

This is a good chance for SE to make some money and to help us out. SE should charge these gil spammers a fee of 75% of what they are trying to make by selling gils to other players for every /shout, /yell, and /tell these spammers send out. The spammers will stop since they wont make much of a profit for spamming. just an idea though.

add a /spam command tht automatically adds the person to the blacklist and reports them for spamming so the people working at SE deals with them.

I will also get random /tell from spammers too. Perhaps that can be addressed with this level cap.

They just need to add a system as used in the wow addon BadBoy which filters out and automatically blocks them.

I am definitely taking a break from this game till SE does something about these spammers. I'm not paying to have myself spammed by these asshats. FFXI was ruined in large part to these gil selling morons, would've thought SE had learned their lesson on that area by now.

Or, do SE have their hands in the cookie jar and take part in this themselves? I seriously am starting to wonder seeing as nothing's being done...
