If You Fail Or Cancel A Leve It Should Be Gone

I challenge anyone to show me where it says this activity is perfectly acceptable. That way myself and my ls mates know this activity is a design of the game and we are free to exploit it as much as we like. Rest assured I will be most grateful for an accurate response to this post and appreciate the information you give.

Just report them... maybe we'll get lucky.

Your failed guildleves get refreshed at the counter every reset. You can cancel guildleves (which fails them) at any point while doing them, regardless of how many enemies are left. Mechanics at work, I'm sorry. Does it feel weird and backwards that this is the best way to get experience points? No doubt. Doesn't make it an exploit, unless you can find some proof that it is.

All you two have said is "it feels wrong" and "there is not way it was meant to work this way". That means nothing. It means even less when you look at every system in this game, as I already said.

I see what you are saying and I respect that. I hope you can also respect the fact that I choose not to participate in this activity because of the fact I and others view this as an exploit. I guess the only way we can really know is if or when SE chooses to address it. I would still appreciate any information on the subject if anyone has any.

Let's let SE say something official if we can abandon without it being exploited. Otherwise, take out the remove option and let people resort to logging off.

Retrying Levequests

Levequest targets give players many times more EXP and skill points than normal monsters (even if not using guardian aspect). That right there is SE saying they have taken enough measures to stop it being abused and are happy with what they left us. What more do you want them to say???

If they wanted to stop it they would or they would at least put a cap of the amount of "retry's" you could have but they haven't.

With all due respect Alexia, my take on that is completely different from yours. I imagine when they said that it was because someone d/c'd and this gives them the option to do a leve again. The tone is set to the fact they do not want you to fail a leve quest on purpose. I can not reasonably infer that they would find the practice of failing leve's on purpose, in the manner it is used now, as an acceptable practice. I think the post is simply a way to let players that d/c have an opportunity to retry their leve.

i have to agree with alexia. it does not say people that disconnect in that statement. it states people failing on purpose specifically. this is not the first time this has been brought up and the other threads have ended the same way. eventually someone will find the interview with either tanaka or yoshi(i do not remember which) directly states that it is a trade off.

if you fail the leve you do not get the gil/credits/marks for the leve, but get to run it again next reset.
if you complete if you get the gill/credits/marks, but join a lottery to hope it comes around next turn.

show me where it mentions disconnecting. now look at it again because it specifically mentions failing on purpose and that it can be tried again. this states that it is known and accepted by se. this is not the only time is has been brought up and spoken about by se and they always say it is acceptable.

my 2 cents is do how they fov pages. Where you only cancle it at the desk. So dc or log off, when you get back on you still have it activated. And just take out the reset time and make leve non stop. Then just make the sp on the mobs be normal sp around that level (based on star count) And have a sp pay out/ gil/ mark pay out at the end. And have marks be 10% of the sp/gil you get. AkA make levequests into fov pages. I feel this will make levequests more of an option instead of the only way to lvl. Cuz exploit or not... force quiting levequests doesn't seem very heroic.
