Cant play without using a VNP (Using Spotflux)

Sorry, I have some reading issue i guess. English isn't my first language.

Then your VPN changed some setting when in use. Try to reset it to default.Its probably pretty easy to google it.

So you start the client, the button goes gray cause you don't have a connection. Is your browser working without VPN?

Lol yes.I can browse anything and play any online game perfectly with no lag or issues whatso ever without the use of VPN. the ONLY reason im using VPN is because Final Fantasy for some reason I cant connect to.

I can click the start button, but hang at the following black screen. I am also using Comcast's wireless router, but I have a hardwire to my PC. I haven't tried using a VPN, though my PS3 is being run wirelessly to the same router with no issues. Not that this is helping with a solution, figured it might add a little information though (since the set ups seem similar).

The only differnece i think is im using a Cisco linksys router :/

Its something simple I bet. Start from the start, check everything. Firewall exemption, ports, ect.

I too cannot seem to play without the use of a VPN. Tried all port forwarding/firewall/antivirus/blood-test/DNA tests but nothing so far. I cannot play through a VPN as it keeps disconnecting the service and end up kicking me out of the game. Beta 3 connected without issues. But Beta 4, Open Beta, Pre-release and release, always hit with a error 2002 15-20 seconds after logging into the game screen with a greyed out Start button. Sigh..

Exactly the same for me as well. Although I never tried beta 3, I tried to do beta 4 and i couldnt get in due to the 2002 error. NOT that it helps the situation, but Spotflux VPN DOES work and stays connected, just a "tad" bit laggy.

I just want to find a way to where I dont need to use a VPN anymore. Its really annoying and I shouldnt have to use one just to play this game.

If you have not, I would suggest disabling your anti-virus. I have hear rumors some don't play nice. I would disable it, restart the client in admin and see what happens.

Im not using an Anti-Virus or firewall of any kind. still need a solution.
