Nice video, I was going to make one myself once the servers were stable but yours accurately depicts what I'm experiencing.
What I'd like to see next is a video from some folks who aren't having the latency issue done in the same format, so we can see the responsiveness on their end and compare info (region, server, connection, ping to servers, etc...).
Thanks for the video! I also just went through the trouble of making one, adding it on the first post :)

As Vektrat said: "For one here's this WoW example video of how it should be (regardless of your opinion, WoW's responsiveness is excellent, wasn't on launch). On a side note, SWtoR managed to fix this issue for a perfect feel of responsiveness." It`s not just lag it`s animation also.
absolutely signed. This has been a big issue for me as well, and bigger issue for our tank in Austrialia (who has died several times).
The only MMO I've seen get this mechanic just right (despite all its other problems) is secret world. I hope to see that level of responsiveness FFXIV one day soon.
completely different game, but since I mentioned how perfect this mechanic works in another game, I'll share a video of what it SHOULD work like in FFXIV, so that it's clear this level of responsiveness is indeed possible in an MMO.

the black stuff that happens immediately after the AoE circle is insta-death. notice the character very narrowly avoids it. If this were played on the lag present in FFXIV, the character would of died 5 times over.
Please fix this it is driving me crazy.
Great job I really hope this is adressed FOR REAL soon. +1
