NA/EU Servers Down?

I've gotten to the point I don't even see my character but still get the world is full without choosing a character

Amazing Square Enix, as time progresses you seem to be getting worse off than better. Most times in games you hit a rough patch and then the makers change things and you see it get better. Here you hit a rough patch, we 'hear' things will get better in the future and we see it progressively get worse. I went from being able to log in occasionally to rarely and now to not at all for the entire day...

Update: As stated by a few others, my account has leveled up it's 1017 code to insta-1017 where the moment I hit start it says "1017 Full, come back when we are not full and I don't know when... later though."

It almost feels like BETA all over again :(

I've been trying to log in for over 2 hours now... Have seen all possible errors passing by, got in a queue twice to be disconnected from the server twice as well...I even got the 'world full' error before even making a character selection...

I took a vacation day today to try to catch up to my irl friends. Big mistake lol (I was logged in but switched to full screen causing my game to crash....BAH!)

I have the same, no NA/EU servers.

I've obviously got the same problem as everyone else, but what really REALLY p*sses me off is the lack of acknowledgment from SE. There's still the same tired message about the Japanese servers up there, but nothing about the NA/EU servers. So what...this is all our imaginations?

I am not even able to click start now. Earlier I would get a round of 1017 then the NA/EU no update or a 1017 as soon as I clicked start. Now the start button is perma-grey and I can't get anywhere.

OPEN THE GATES! I WANT PLAY! *0* well same issue here... already tried 4 hours and nothing yet x.x but i NEVER GIVE UP! OPEN THE GATES!(please be patient and not ragequit because i know you will back after 1 week hehehe)

Same here the "Start" button is grayed out for me; but when I restart the launcher it's clickable and then I either get good ol' error 1017 or error 5009 (Lost connection to server).
