They really should've extended the beta for a week and stress test a bit more. :/

All you people defending/bashing S-E are missing one important thing. New servers don't help people who want to play with their friends from launch or EA, unless they want to re-roll...which ruins the whole point of an early access period.

I'm not holding my breath that this will fix anything. Adding new servers instead of an actual queue (NOBODY should be forced to keep trying to login, this isn't 2000) might help with an influx of new players, but at this point S-E needs to be worried about retention of players from EA...I know a few people in my FC are just done.

Other MMOs had problems, Sim City did, D3 did. But for two weeks in a row? Nah it never happened. No matter how you try to spin it, in 20 years of gaming it's the first time I see that happening. It's a shame though, 'cause it's a really good game.

Pretty much the most ignorant post I've seen in a while. Guild Wars had this same issue for two weeks last year, they turned off digital sales, locked servers. Wow was a disaster up until the first week of Jan after its launch with data loss, crashing servers. Two weeks is the norm for MMO problems it happens because something new always comes up.
