Have you tried right clicking on their name, choose send tell, then copy the name, goto /blist <paste>? This is the quickest and most accurate way to blist them. They are getting craftier as of late where they use I's and L's repeatedly in their name or surname.

WTB option to rightclick / add to blacklist.

selecting is also possible in chat without using /tell. Highlight their names by left-clicking on the colon after the surname, then move cursor to highlight the whole name. ctrl+c to copy. Open social window, go to blacklist tab, add name, paste (ctrl+v). cross check the spelling to make sure, then add. voila.

I currently have 9 gil spammers on my blacklist. I've been playing since Phase 4. They started showing up during EA (not sure tho).

As previously suggested, add the option to right click their names and report them as spammers. Doing so wld automatically blacklist said name, send report, but will not count against the blacklist limit.

The spam that is happening at the moment is due to players getting their accounts hacked and thus those spammers using those accounts to send out their whispers, shout messages and ingame mails. Until people stop getting hacked, this problem won't disappear unfortunately.

It's even more funny that the servers are now full of Gold spammers, spamming AFKers..

Or do what Eme (TERA) does.

That game has something.. I dunno what, but it prevents goldspammers from the game.
I have never seen any goldspammers in TERA.

Square get whatever Eme has and bring death to those spammers! O=<

I propose a certain error code that SE should give to these gil selling people

Yup still a problem, My current spammer Mr. Mosasa Mosa in Migardsomr has just been blisted :(
