Request for information: ISPs and P2P throttling

ISP - BT

Country - Wales, UK

When does the problem occur - Every evening between the hours of 7pm - 11pm it always returns to normal at 11pm. Some days it does not start happening until 9 or 10pm but I believe this may be because BT will only throttle when the service is busy, and some days are more busy than others.


I have tested, and confirmed using multiple pc's and on 2 separate BT phone lines, and can confirm the issue can be "fixed" by using VPN so I think this proves that throttling is causing this issue.

is that everyone has this problem right now ? cant even open the game client?

Always - however in Beta 3 this did not happen and in Beta 4 only occasionally.

I have switched to using a vpn service to get around this problem.
