No. We need to keep competition. Instances are boooring.
tbh im happy for the fast pops.... having a random pop like jaged ear jack or leaping lizzy was painful... i had 5 hours between pops on LL and only killed jej two times @ ps2 launch. no drop
If you dont have time to play a MMORPG then why are you playing? go play wow, its made/geared for casual gamer, FF has always been not for casual gamers, this 1 is more then the last, imo
I don't know what the big fuss is about? I knew people would swarm these new NMs and cause a ruckus. If they had a longer re-spawn, many people would complain about it.
Its all too funny though, these threads are ignored for a reason. I think SE thought too highly of its fans to be more civilized.
TC *you* don't have time for "hardcore" content (although what you described barely qualifies) so why don't you go camp the other NMs with faster respawns instead of dedicate all your time to one? some of you people have to understand that you're not the only ones playing (casuals) and nobody cares about you or your precious time. If there's enough for both casuals and hardcores, that's good - and god knows this game needs something to differentiate the two considering everything is casual. THIS coming from a full time student at the University annnd I juggle a job along with that.

You just need to accept that if you want to play casual, you should focus on casual things. You could just farm the gill in your own time and buy it later. You're being mighty selfish that the game has to go 100% your way and not consider other types of players.
Im working 10-12 hours a day and attending college. I'm playing this game for whatever the hell it is, and I like the direction it is going. Sure re-spawn for 3-5 minutes may be a bit obscure for the NM status, but I am guessing that its a come-and-go type of NM, not necessarily one that would drop an item that is more useful than an NM that has 1-2 hour re-spawns would drop.
If you invest time into that longer re-spawn, it is a waste if you do not get that item, but thats just what NMs are about, you just have to keep trying and trying.
You know, with my job alone (since i wasn't in college at the time), i spent nearly 3 days total farming for the Okotes and the Haste Shoes in FFXI just because I wanted to. Those days I "wasted" were worth getting those items in the longrun.
If you want to actuallly claim the mob and not waste time, you're going to have to wait until everyone has that item.
You want SE to refund you time? I think had they managed to develop time travel they wouldn't be in the gaming business. Stupid topic is stupid and you have no argument - people have already told you to wait out the competition or go camp other NMs.Quote:

Man people sure are whiny. If it sucks don't play, game is free to play anyways for now and so the only thing you're losing is time. And it was your decision to use that time to play this game, do us all a favor and don't play.
