The following change has been made to “The Hunt”.
- There will now be stricter evaluation of movement cheating in Frontline.
The following issues have been addressed.
- The Elite Mark Bill has been adjusted so that when it is updated the same monster will not be the targeted mark two weeks in a row.
- An issue in ”The Striking Tree (Extreme)” wherein the text indicating the “Treasure Coffer” is in Japanese.
- Certain Achievement texts in “The Hunt” have been revised.
The following issue has been addressed.Additionally, we have confirmed that some items that were moved into/out of company chests from Aug. 19, 2014 2:30 a.m. (PDT) onward may have become lost. We are currently in the process of restoring the lost items, but because this will take some time, as well as to prevent data mismatching, company chests will be temporarily locked until the item restoration process is over.
- An issue wherein taking an item from/putting an item into a company chest causes the server to crash.
We are sorry, and ask for your patience until the item restoration process has concluded. Currently, the estimated date the process will be concluded is tomorrow, Aug. 20, 2014.

The following issues have been addressed.
- An issue in “Crystal Tower: Syrcus Tower” wherein ground-targeting actions such as Shadow Flare could cause damage to monsters on the floor above.
- An issue wherein, if a currently held weekly elite mark bill that was accepted during a previous week had the same target as the current week’s elite mark bill, and the elite mark was slain, then the current week’s elite mark bill, even if it is still unaccepted, is also counted as being completed.
- An issue wherein the graphics for the NPC “A-Ruhn-Senna” did not display properly during cutscenes.
The following issues have been addressed.
- An issue wherein S rank elite hunt marks did not have top display priority.
- An issue wherein it was not possible to map areas of Hullbreaker Isle.
- An issue wherein the “wind-up Minfilia” and “wind-up Thancred,” obtainable from the “Rising vendor” NPC, cannot be discarded.
- An issue in the FATE “If I Only Had a Soul” wherein monster names are displayed in Japanese.
The following issues have been addressed.
- An issue in guildleves wherein the targeting is off when using an event item on an object.
- An issue wherein the movement speed starts out very slow when using the gamepad for character movement.
- An issue wherein using the Face Target function while moving will cause the character to face in the direction of the target, only to snap back to their original direction in an instant.
The following issues have been addressed.
・ An issue wherein the movement of the occupation gauge would differ with each Grand Company when another Grand Company attempts to neutralize a location under a specific condition.
・ An issue in the Halatali (Hard) boss fight wherein Narasimha would engage combat regardless of meeting its requirement.
・ An issue wherein inspecting a soulglazed Relic Weapon Novus with a Zodiac glass would not display the weapon graphic properly. (Windows version only)
・ An issue wherein binding Confirm or Cancel to the side buttons of a mouse would result in the button press having no response.
・ An issue wherein certain text in the menu would appear in Japanese.
Regarding the retainer’s “quick exploration venture,” the following have been added to the list of rare items a retainer can only obtain once they are above a certain item level/gathering ability.
- pot of pure white dye
- pot of jet black dye
- pot of metallic silver dye
- pot of metallic gold dye
The following issue has been addressed.
- An issue with the retainer’s “quick exploration venture” wherein one of the items that was added to the obtainable rare items list, the “pot of metallic gold dye”, could not be obtained.
The following issues have been addressed.
- An issue in “The Akh Afah Amphitheatre (Extreme)” wherein certain circumstances caused the client to freeze and become inoperable. (PlayStation®3 version only)
- An issue in “The Akh Afah Amphitheatre (Hard)” wherein characters revived with Resurrect became uncontrollable under certain circumstances.
- An issue in “The Second Coil of Bahamut - Turn 4” wherein Dalamud spawn did not always draw in meteoric fragments.
- An issue wherein players who had not logged in since patch 2.2 and logged in after 2.4 had their Allagan Tomestones of Poetics weekly cap already maxed out, even when they had not yet earned or received any.
- An issue wherein a chocobo that was stabled in a chocobo stable could not be removed.
*After the fix, talking to the NPC “housing enthusiast” will allow you to remove your personal chocobo from the chocobo stable.
Additionally, this issue allowed personal chocobos to be fetched and gain experience while still being stabled in the chocobo stable; however, because the stabled chocobo is the one with the correct data, we apologize, but the data on your personal chocobo will be overwritten to the correct data upon removal of your personal chocobo from the stable.- An issue wherein the server would go down under certain conditions.
- An issue wherein the client would crash under certain conditions.
- An issue wherein if direct chat was enabled, there were occasions when key bindings that utilize the Ctrl or Alt key did not function properly.
- An issue wherein there was a mistake in the “Mug” help text.
The following issues have been resolved:
- In the raid dungeon "The Final Coil of Bahamut: Turn 3", certain dungeon mechanics have been changed. Please follow the link below for details:

- In the raid dungeon "The Second Coil of Bahamut: Turn 2", under certain circumstances, accepting a Raise would cause the character to appear in an abnormal location.
- In the trial "Akh Afah Amphitheatre (Extreme)", Shiva's model may not have reappeared after using "Diamond Dust".
- In the dungeon "Sastasha (Hard)", the boss "Captain Madison" may have become unresponsive.
- In the FATE "Defending the Hive", at a certain point when a popup appears, selecting "No" would cause the character to become unresponsive.
- Using the action "Assassinate" under certain conditions would cause the character to appear in an abnormal location.
- It was possible to stable your chocobo at both your free company house and personal house at the same time.
(* As we have already informed you previously, the state of your personal chocobo after the fix will depend on what the state of your personal chocobo was before the fix.)
- If you had already fetched your chocobo from your free company house stable before the fix, after the fix you will only be able to fetch the chocobo from your personal house, and by doing so the data for the chocobo from your personal house stable will be used.
- If you had already fetched your chocobo from your personal house before the fix, after the fix you will only be able to fetch the chocobo from your free company house stable, and by doing so the data for the chocobo from your free company house stable will be used.
- If you left your chocobo stabled at both locations before the fix, only your free company house-stabled chocobo’s data will be saved.
- Additionally, due to the effects of this issue, after your personal chocobo’s data has been overwritten you may find that it has exceeded its rank cap in experience. In this case, feeding your chocobo a Thavnairian onion to raise its rank cap will allow you to gain the correct experience. There will be no loss of any experience that you have gained.

- When doing a Grand Company Expert Delivery, the delivered item would not be the designated item.
- When the following items were HQ, the “GP” stat was higher than intended, which resulted in equipped materia having a lower value:

- In the Crafting Log, after removing a recipe from your Favorites, activating that recipe from the Hotbar would cause the game client to crash.
- Activating the free company actions "Meat and Mead" and "Meat and Mead II" would not extend their duration.
- When "Status Icon Display Type" is set to "Justified Left", the durations for free company actions would display incorrectly on the "Status Effects" UI element.
- In the "Actions & Traits" menu, Additional Actions could not be rearranged by dragging and dropping.
- Certain text commands would not appear in the auto-translation dictionary.
- Certain text for the NPC “wandering minstrel” would display in Japanese.
