Theres very few songs i like, most suck imo. But it is weird how only mist beard is the only "cave" to get a song.
There is no music in these caves, and quite frankly, I've loved it since the first time I noticed it. It's like one place in FFVII, I remember, in Cosmo Canyon. You went down a long ladder underground, and as you went, the music became more and more distant, until it was completely silent. This was a truly powerful effect. It's the same thing here - you get the feeling of being in caves, all you can hear is a distant echoing rumbling. The music represents the bustling life in the cities, and the eternity of the plains, so entering caves with no music makes me feel like I am far away from all that, actually underground.
I do hope they will keep it like this.
I was in Mor Dhona today and I must say that Mor Dhona and Coerthas hands down have the best music in the game.
Mor Dhona's music really sets the mood for the dark and mysterious landscape imo.
I for one listen to 75 music this game have i got it around alpha or beta i believe someone put it on youtube got del later because of beta being close but w/e listening to all of them there a few i really like some are just copy of each other.
I was at Distant Worlds last night at the Sydney Opera House. Great acoustics...wonderful evening. The Limsa Lominsa theme was played and I agree that I preferred it to the in game one.
They also played a couple of tracks they'd only played in Tokyo once and we got a preview of the new Chocobo music for Final Fantasy XIV!!!
Nobuo Uematsu joined the choir in the end to close with a a number that wasn't programmed, and total fan service - One Winged Angel - he had the greatest look on his face as he sang with the choir!
do you mean this Chocobo theme?
