I understand that they don't need to share every little thing, but you need to realize that the general audience is impatient with this game and won't give it the time it needs to improve without a lot of information on how it's going to change, and we can't survive on the meager amount of players we already have to keep the game alive for the next few years.

Ans so? Did I say I want them now? I want to know. If we didn't ask for Hamlets in this topic we might have been waiting for them for ages without knowing they've been scrapped. Oh wait, they're not scrapped, they may be in consideration, but maybe in a different way, maybe it will be somthing in line of what Tanaka proposed, or maybe it will be something totally different, or maybe we'll never hear anything about them :O we'll know "in the future"...

Wasn't this redesign supposed to be based on communication? where's the communication now? Tell me one single aspect about the future updates that we know something about except that "they're gonna come in the future"...
Honestly I think we've been patient enough, we complained about Tanaka's communication, but Yoshi-P isn't definitely better then him, he's just telling us to wait for info, not even for the patches and he's giving info only when the servers are down for the update... lol, great communication plan...
So tell me, since everyone is bringing up the "redesign excuse" when will I be allowed to be angry about the total lack of communication?

Considering he already stated in his letter everything prior to his management had to be reviewed and everyone, including the dev team wants the game redesigned, you're basically asking for information on a system that wasn't even fully introduced concept wise from the get go, then throw in the fact they're redesigning the foundation of the game meaning that system will more than likely also undergo a change therefore can't divulge information about it yet.

So you can be angry whenever, but it's not going to change the fact they can't give information that more than likely isn't even finalized yet, that would defeat the purpose and only piss people off when the announced information is nothing like what actually ends up being implemented, which should be a familiar scenario to you.

When there's a total lack of communication? I think this forum in itself is proof enough that we are more in the know of what they're doing now than before with Tanaka in his ivory tower.

Or would you rather us post all of our questions back on the community message boards where it's like talking to a brick wall with no responses from developers again?

I wouldn't say there's a total lack of communication. But I would love to hear more details on what's going on, and I think it would be helpful to people still on the fence.

they can't give, what they do not have.

They have ideas and speculation. Something I'd love to see and discuss, but as Jynx explained to me, much of the playerbase would get angry and frustrated if certain features where dropped when they where only ideas to begin with.

Something I've seen happen plenty of times in other games, and I really don't care to see it happen here.
