Another thing is if i have to chase down a mob you've pulled off me it messes up my aggro generation on the rest of them which can lead to me loosing them cause i have to chase after you.

I'm usually pretty good about tanking, but when there's an Arcanist using a Topaz Carbuncle and a THM using AoE spells, things get a little tricky... I didn't let the healer get any aggro, so I feel like I did my job well. :o
Regardless, it wasn't causing us any serious problems (it was in Copperbell Mines), so I didn't say anything about it.
Glad to hear more people saying this lately! Well... glad in the sense that it will probably get fixed if enough people make the issue known. I don't think it's a personal internet connection issue, because oddly enough, this only occurs for me on a few select fights. It happens every time I do them, but is never an issue on most others. (Last boss of Brayflox's Longstop, and especially the second boss of Dzkasjdflkj Darkhold to name a couple of the worst offenders.)
Tanking is fine. Develop a vood rotation and you will not have any problems. As a tank mark targets so everyone can focus on one at a time. So you don't have to worry about the other mobs as much.
I am just learning to tank as a GLA and I appreciate any advice others can give me. So far I haven't lost agro very often, it usually always happens when the DPS hits the wrong target (and I mark every pull) or the Heals is way overhealing.
Also if your a mime, your not supposed to talk. Mimes don't talk...
When I level my CNJ I get a lot of obviously new tanks, when I switched to GLD I decided I didn't want to be THAT tank so I started looking up rotations and stuff I needed to know last week during downtime. But when I went in my first dungeon it was terrible. The healer decided casting Stone was more important than healing...I died at least 4 times in Satasha. Eventually my husband who is playing ARN had to take over healing. When I marked it seemed like the dps (who wasn't my husband) thought the order was 2,3,1. And to top it off, when someone stole aggro they either ran away or ran in big circles around the room.
So yea, while I've seen a lot of bad tanks...its not always their fault. They can only do so much, really...everyone needs to work together.
I'm a CNJ
To other CNJ - You should only be using your water move to knock an aggro'd enemy away from you or maybe a ranged ally. BUT you should be standing far enough back while casting that the enemy would likely fling back to the tank, and not even remotely be the tank's current target.
DD - LET THE TANK PULL! And watch your damn aggro meters!
Tanks - Don't try to tank through red circles without ever moving. You're not invincible and I watch you take massive amounts of damage from them just like everyone else. Get the hell out of the way when they come up. You and I depend on each other here. Don't make me waste all my mana, because I don't have a mana recovery mechanic as early as other magic classes aside from Ether. And you KNOW some noob DDs are going to take aggro and make me have to heal them too....
Edit: To EVERYONE: STOP trying to compete with the CNJ to cast and overwrite our Protect in dungeons. Yours are not as powerful as ours because you don't have the Trait Bonuses we do!
I just want Aegis Boon back...
