More maintenance at 12am EST

Hopefully this new effort to fix the game actually fixes it. That said, I had to giggle when they stated that the issue was that players only "occasionally" had these issues. Sounds like they're trying to make it sound like less of a big deal than it really is.

i'm telling you FFXIV is a maintenance sim not a MMO.

If they could just let us know what the problem is and what they are doing to fix it. Because it just feels like the maintenances are for plain nothing.

God sake. 4? 5 maintenances until now? And nothing is fixed. NOTHING.

Blame the troll threads screaming at SE because of the errors, they are the main cause of not getting direct dev responses to these issues

They fixed error 3102, so now when you get d/c while warping you can log back in. They added more stability to the servers so you don't get random 90000 while playing. Duty finder, although slow last night, worked if you were patient enough; did one guildhest and one instance.

Not bad for one night's of work on a weekend where usually no one works. Things are getting fixed slowly, but at least it's getting fixed.

Good thing my sleep hours don't correspond with normal US Eastern time, even though I'm in that time zone. If I can log in at 1:30am, I can still play until 5:00am before getting some sleep :)

Honestly...
I think SE should hire server & hardware engineers from Korea. i heard that Korea has considerable experience with managing game server

I honestly wouldn't mind this. I wouldn't even mind going to a JP server if my character were to come with me.
