Like I said earlier, only the forum seems to be using different character information. All the other services aside from this forum and the launcher use the information I get from the Square-Enix Account Management system. Something tells me someone will lose his job as Database manager ;)

As for what the other player wrote, we are experiencing a different problem. I'm not too concerned about my Account being used for the game itself, as the first problem I encounter is the lack of Legacy Status. It would mean I don't get access to EA, hence getting the error of no Active Service Account ... it would make sense. What I'm talking about in this thread is that I should have EA + Legacy Status, while I got none of these ;)

It's a long shot, but try canceling your FFXIV service that is listed. Then relog and see if it'll let you choose between two accounts. I don't think it'll harm your accounts in any way, but the worst that could probably happen is that you'd lose your progress from phase 4 on your beta account.

To be honest, I'm a lot more of afraid of losing my 1.0 CE account information by doing so. As far as I've seen, they're really bad at managing account information and I'm quite sure they'd love me losing trace of all this Service History :S

i have my lvl 50 character on legacy server -.- so i do have the status. -.- i think its error on SE part. but i will check account make sure i guess

I am also having this same issue... My account was current during that time and I am unable to log in to the FFXIV:ARR because I have "no valid service account"

I really don't understand what I did wrong? I have had my account since 2010 when I got the collector's edition on day one!
