Increase the size of the summers Egi's. (yes this again)

i agreed to this topic before...and i will again!

I would also love to see a slight size increase like what is shown in that image. I think a number of players are attracted to the summoner class/characters in final fantasy because they can call upon powerful and imposing beings for magical aid. The summons in the single-player RPGs of the series are typically accompanied by visually impressive and lengthy sequences, and the avatars of FFXI were generally larger than a player character. I understand and agree with the need to limit egi size due to screen crowding, but they still strike me as a little too small.

I have to agree on this everytime it's posted, back when ff7 came out i wasn't into rpgs yet so my first final fantasy was 9 (i eventually went back to the others to play them) but in 9 i had the impression that summoners were these very special spirit mediums who with certain crystals along with the proper spiritual fortitude could summon beings of great and forbidden power. The majestic feeling I gained spurred me on to play 7, 8, 10 and eventually 12 which was the last i played but i have never once imagined that a final fantasy summon would be anything other than...an actual summon of a monster. Truth be told i feel these egi's are a cop out, why? Because guess what other MMO I have played, Aion, and can anyone remember the pet class of that game? Let me show you the class I played in that game..it was called:

Ya I instantly thought of Aion's spiritmaster class as well when I first saw the Egis. I definitely would not be opposed to the size increase as shown in the image posted a page or so back.

A slight size increase would be nice.

I only kinda dislike the garuda eggi. Looks too generic compared to the other ones.

If it aint broke, why bother?

I'm planning to wait until I have the actual smn's but I agree somewhat.
I want a SLIGHT increase in size. Just SLIGHT.
Dont care about them being remade. I dont want them twice the size of my characters. I however do want them somewhat close to the size of a human. I think that is fair. My bigger fear though is they're scaled to the character summoning them, which is why I'm waiting to make a thread.

My reason? I think it would look strange to see my "powerful summon" to be half my size, fighting a monster 6 times my size, fighting it right next to fellow players also twice the size. My summon is supposed to fight on my behalf, at least make it look like its on par with the lancer/monk on some level (only by appearance im talking about). I think thats more then fair.

I'm not going to lie, but I laughed when I first saw the Egis. Terrible. Ifrit shits bigger than what his egi looks like.
