Did you re-download the client from the store or from your downloads list? I purchased it on the 13th as well and have not been able to check if I am getting this error, but it looks like I will.

Yeah, re-downloading won't do anything.

Has anyone tried deleting the system data (not character data) and tried going through the re-registration process again?

common SE fix the problem :S if they dont fix it in time i want a refund i bought the pre order because of the EA

No one try it yet, can you try it and tell us if it works? I'm not at home now, can't try it myself.

It takes 15 days for a refund on PSN, just in case anyone is wondering.

I'm pretty sure they will fix it in a couple of hours, if not tomorrow morning.

Nervous to do all that this close. I just want to keep faith that a XMB mail attatchment like my beta XMB mail can fix me. Im so close.

@above - refund is a refund. I was speaking to those that are cursing SE. they are keeping my money and i'll be playing sometime this weekend I am sure

If you are a PSplus member, you can copy your system data to the online storage before you delete it. That way if it doesn't work you can copy it back down and be right back where you started.
