Now, I have a question. I'm a v1.0 player (Non-Legacy), I've pre-ordered the PS3 Collector's edition. I've put in my Early Access PS3 code, linked my account, fully updated my clients PC AND PS3. I am fairly certain I can do whatever from this point on, but still... My question is this: Will I be able to play Early Access on PC after connecting my PS3 code to my PSN? I'm pretty sure I can, I just want to know as my comp turned up the day after P4 and I didn't get to test it out >_<

I don't feel entitled to get EA for buying 1.0 three years ago. Especially since the game was free to play for over a year.

You don't seem to understand. They bought the game around two years ago, so they should be able to play just like the pre-orderers. We should all get the new pre-order items too.
Clearly SE treating the people that spent money on 1.0 poorly is not good PR for the new people coming in, especially the wary ones expecting this new version to be as bad as the last version.

Um go to game stop, pre order, input code on your v1.0 account = win. Its $5.00 and you won't lose a dime.
-
no you are wrong. 1.0 players that are non-legacy should in fact not get early access.

should clear some things up

You know, some people were so disappointed with 1.0 that they destroyed the disks, and there was no way to download the game by the time the legacy campaign came around....
Either way, by buying 1.0 you invested in a game that even according to SE themselves wasn't worthy of the franchise.
I did preorder 2.0 and have early access, but it would have been nice not to have to do that. It's not an entitlement issue, it just would have been excellent customer service to smooth away a remarkable screw up and PR disaster.

As a 1.0 non-legacy player, I agree that its fair in not providing EA. All 1.0 owners had the ability to sub for legacy status. Personally I pre-ordered for 2.0 for both the items and EA. Sure free is nice, but fair is fair.

Thankyou CrowQueen, much appreciated!
