The tracking numbers are real, they just take a while to show up in USPS's system. Mine didn't show up for the first couple of days either, but now it does. OP's claim that they're purposefully issuing "false information" (what, making up random strings that look like tracking numbers and sending them out?) is completely false.
No need to panic, guys!
I've ordered many things online and there are times where the tracking info doesn't show up until the package is at my house. I wouldn't worry about it especially since you don't need the key for a while anyway.
I cancelled with SE/DR and just pre-ordered off of PSN.. No hassle at all. The funny thing is since I cancelled my pre-order they have sent me like 5 emails of an early access code.. smh..
I don't believe they are misleading you, I have the same thing when I try to look at my tracking code. I have run into this before with USPS before, for some reason they can't track some packages. I wouldn't worry about it, your package should be on your door step by the 27th.
I haven't received an email about shipping my physical PC CE either. Does anyone have any information on how to contact Digital River? I'm on the website and it keeps taking me to my order page when I go to support. It's just a "Frame" within the SE website. I'm just shocked that I paid extra for quick shipping and it hasn't gone out yet >.<
I really hope I don't get crucified for this, but... Digital River has a HORRENDOUS track record for deliveries, especially when it comes to new titles. I've had two miserable experiences:
I pre-ordered Marvel VS. Capcom 3 LE from the Capcom Store months in advance, threw a game in there (Ghost Trick, if anyone cared) and a few shirts. I didn't receive the package until TWO WEEKS after launch, even after we were promised release day delivery! This was not an isolated event, as it happened to droves of other people. Nearly everyone's copy was stuck in Indiana (said the tracking info) for an entire week! We were reimbursed the MVC3 strategy guide by Capcom themselves in an attempt to pacify the masses.
Secondly, I ordered Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch LE from Namco-Bandai, who also uses Digital River for their logistics. Release day delivery was once again promised, but the game didn't show up at my doorstep until a week and a half later. THIS entire operation was totally blotched: http://www.aristogamer.net/2013/02/n...w-digital.html
I won't even get into the way DR leaves no contact information. At any rate, I really hope whoever pre-ordered from DR don't get the shaft the way I did. I only pre-ordered from these sites because they were exclusive and/or included a neat bonus. Godspeed.
not so much worrying about if package is gonna arrive or not as much as it is excitement getting all the goodies inside the CE o.o;;;; and I got 2 day shipping better not of payed extra if it dosen't arrive on 29th or since it said it shipped already by saturday @_@;;;
I had to spend over an hour on the phone with their customer service who barely spoke english which is always awesome.....They told me the reason my code wasn't working for EA/CE/PS3 was because i ordered it too early and my codes were no longer valid....I waited at least 35 mins of that hour listening to classical music while waiting for them to return with an answer....I looked them up on the BBB website and shockingly they have a less-than-stellar track record for customer service to say the least...I don't like Digital River >.<
