I managed to speak to an se rep on live chat today, he told me that se would be announcing some kind of fix for this issue through twitter and that we would not have to contact se to resolve the issue. I asked if it would be resolved before early access starts and he assured me that it would, hopefully this is the truth and they have something planned to fix this.

Seconded. No matter what I do it resets me back to being English (UK). How did you keep it on US?

I logged into membership.square-enix.com and changed it.

The bigger is is that regardless of your setting 80% of the time it will log you into eu.square-enix.com instead of na.square-enix.com. You have to check the dropdown on the preorder page to make sure the links there are pointing to NA and not EU then try and redeem. I usually had to log in and out a couple times for it to be right.

If true, that's good to know. You would have to think that through this radio silence from SE, they are working on SOME kind of mass resolution.

Guys, have you tried this fella's steps? I RE ENTERED my 18 digit and got a RAAU code (different from my RAAE code!) Give it another go. Mine JUST worked.

Yes its been like that since yesterday assuming you can get your social account to log you in to NA instead of EU.

I make sure that everything that can possibly be switched to a North American / US setting is switched before entering the code. I change it on the membership web page, AND the pre-order page. But it seems like even after I do that, I'm somehow getting bounced back to UK settings. I've even tried clearing the cache, cookies, a different computer... Zilch.
