100% agree with the OP, something simple like he suggested would be a great fix.

I also agree, FATEs like behemoth that everyone is looking forward to are going to have a LOT of debuffs @_@ it will be so confusing...
Those are all very sound ideas. If not one of those changes, a setting to view only yours or be able to view only yours and your partys, but i imagine in 24 man raids we'd still have the same problems of not being able to differentiate between whose debuffs are whose. I hope in the near future then implement something along the of lines of your suggestions.
Extremely in support for this. It was really annoying to check if somewhere among all those debuffs I would be able to spot if mine are still active, looking for those green debuff timers...it's really annoying :/
I'm loving this. It's very clean and there's no confusion at all.
I think the debuffs may be the biggest issue I have with the UI. Everything else can be dealt with but in the heat of battle I really don't have time to look for a thing of green in the dozens of constantly moving debuffs.
Great post OP! It's stuff like this that makes me wish we could "Like" more than once. :)
We definitely need something done, the green timers just aren't enough when your debuffs are moving every which way because new debuffs, which may or may not look identical to your own, are being added and counted. This is a massive pain in the neck in any NM FATE. It's going to be just as bad in 24-man content.
On the plus side, the green timers are enough in 4-man content, it just doesn't help at all when you throw too many players in the mix, especially those of the same class/job.
@Thane - Yeah agreed - others people's debuffs wearing off and new ones being added means your personal debuffs fly around so quickly, it's hard to keep track. After playing Arcanist for an extensive period of time now, I have to reiterate how much of a problem this is. Please help us, SE! :)
