I would honestly give it a perfect 10/10, no bias from this long term Final Fantasy fan that has played XIV since alpha back in 2010, and is legacy, no bias at all :p

Hmm
Music: 10/10
Graphics: 8/10
Story: 6/10 (only because if it's a FF story, I'll prolly not understand a damn thing lol)
Characters: 9/10
Battle System: 5/10 (GCD will kill the score I think, I can deal, but a lot of people can't)
Voices: ?/10 (Can't score, voices weren't in beta)
World/Environment: 9/10
I like this. I'll do mine:
Music: 7/10 (I find some of it forgettable, but overall it is good)
Graphics: 8/10
Story: 6/10 if we're talking central story-line. While the storyline does keep me going to see what happens next, I find there is not really enough to it to make me not just click nextnextnextnext at every cutscene out of disinterest.
Characters: 7/10 if we're talking character creation but I could bump this up significantly if I see more options on launch day than currently available, things like facial/chin structure was entirely disappointing.
Battle System: 6/10 and all of that 4-point loss is for the GCD which is absolutely absurd.
World/Environment: 8/10
Which gives me a grand total of.. 7 / 10. Sounds about right for what I was thinking.
hmm...
I believe the score will be in the middle table of the top ones. We'll have a lot of new MMOs out there this year with a great impressions in the foruns everywhere. But I think FFXIV ARR will be one of them. My guess is about 8 to 9 :D
FFXIV ARR have a great structure in the relationship between client/SE. We have a developer team that see our expectations and do stuffs FOR US, instead of forcing us to like the game without any care (like some titles out there). I have a great hope that the game will grow strong and more and more joyable for all players by the each of the future expansions. :D
I'll do mine also
Music: 10/10
Graphics: 9/10
Story: 8/10 Loving it so far hoping it be better then COP from FFXI.
Characters: 8/10
Battle System:7/10 GCD does not big me there so much you do at 50 that GCD does not bug me.
Voices: 8/10 from what i heard from youtube video so far so good :)
World/Environment: 9/10
Why so much hate for GCD? did anyone even play on a level 50? If you do cancer you see how much GCD does not matter. It's the only F.A.T.E my endgame found with the highest HP to study our dps with. Pretty much you can do non-GCD and even sometime you don't have much time to pop them out. Before GCD is over so ya there no point in hating GCD it does not bug a level 50 at all. Seeing how this game is following the stranded model of mmo. Doing endgame is the only area that matter in this type of game it's all about getting the highest tier before they release a patch with a new tier set. So being 50 with best tier would lower your GCD even more. So if it's not really bug me at all right now it should not even bug us with best tier gear later on.
The battle system at level 50 is very much the same as lower levels. Just a few more button combinations, and that's it. There's a significant lack of depth. There's only one optimal rotation, and with a game like this it's extremely easy to see who's not following it. Back when we had individual cool downs there was optimal rotations but the entire system didn't feel like button mashing to the extreme. The slower paced system opened doorways for some slightly deeper mechanics.
It really depends on how fights are created at end game. Are they dynamic, or will they be tank and spank? Thus far we haven't seen much of what they have in store other then tank and spank mechanics. Tank and spank makes a shallow battle system look even worse. This "standard" model needs to change, because it's outdated and so very, very tired.
OT: With the demotion of Crystal Tower from a launch raid with significant challenge. I'm a little worried about my 7-7.5/10 that I predicted earlier. I'm hoping that the difficulty tiers that they announced during the live letter will be in at launch, rather then 3 patches down the road.
While I want A Realm Reborn to succeed (and I think it will). I still don't think this game will be up to the general publics standards for a Final Fantasy title.
