Yeah, the poison spell in XI had a great sizzle sound effect, and actually lingered for a few seconds. I know the spell impact effects have to be pretty fast, since it's an MMO and no one wants a battle system to be too slow do to visual effects, but there is a fine line between the two.
I've got a feeling we'll see a letter sometime this week, and hoping a patch to go along with it, since we're about half-way through April.

Yes, you don't need the [dev xxxx] in the thread title, the devtag in the thread tags is all you need.
