Considering it is a FATE I imagine the size isn't indicative of the normal mob type. The wing is the upper right, the body/eye is center right, tail straight out to the left, and you can make out it's tiny legs midway. It's a floating eye type mob.

I don't think its an Ahriman, its got a leg on the back... perhaps its a dragon/wyvern =O

Well, I saw no good reason for them to hold out on us, from a development perspective, so I figured they just weren't ready yet.

Well, they were also contemplating letting us ride them, so it seems unlikely that they would increase the size much.

An armored Ahriman?! Next they'll be wearing sunglasses!

At first I thought the first pic was the back of a dragon but an ahriman/floating eye mob sounds very plausible. Whatever it is, I'm loving the size of the FATE mobs.

Maybe one day the primals will be as big as God of War bosses haha. Bahamut is going to be pretty close, but imagine Titan being this big:

Maybe if they were artificially/magically pumped with crazy amounts of aether they'll get that big? o.O

The succubi mobs in the second pic are also looking really cool. But not only that, I'm really interested in the dungeon itself. From the looks of the bg it's some gothic cathedral type of place. I wonder where in Gridania this is?

As for the last pic, I think the female Lalafell's hairstyle is an Elezen's? Curious just how many cross racial hairstyles there will be. So far, all the new ones seem to fit great imo.

They have overstock Tonberry plushies and I don't have one yet??? What witchcraft is this???

It doesn't really look like an Ahriman, it looks too...insectoid for that. It has little legs that are actually on the ground supporting it, whereas an Ahriman would normally float. The tail on it looks like it's more off a manticore or something moreso than an Ahriman. It looks like something totally new. The big leathery wing is intriguing though.

Well, maybe we'll get to find out what it is in beta if it's featured in Gridania.
