the... GOLD SAUCER

I hope they add some expansions and quests over time that increase technology / vibrancy of the game. I'll be pretty sad if the Golden Suacer isnt crazy colorful lol, I say this because most tech and metal in FFXIV is a dark steel (like in Garlean camps and airships/boats/elevators/bla anything metal lol).

Not promoting WoW neon cartoon colors (cause I hate that) but in past FF games there has usually been a pretty large spread color palette (FFIX my favorite for zones and such) and FFXIV was narrowed a bit more then I'd have liked (still looks good dont get me wrong :P, and in good news ARR is looking more colorful than 1.0 :D).


As for games I hope they introduce Tetra Master - but not make it exclusive to this area. I hope to see casino games, chocobo racing, ghost house, arcade full of previous FF classic mini games (bike race, that pinball TD, ect..)*, maybe if they feel insane they can try to introduce a FF sport (blitz ball is an example, basically a PvP of different type of combat/environment mechanics/levels).

*I'd like to see mini games introduced throughout the game zones as well like how you could jump rope in FFIX with the kids lol (though of course Golden Saucer should have the most).

I really like all these ideas :) I hope these games can be cross-server because I see none of you are on Ridill with me :(

Yeah, I know i just wanted to get to get the point across that, like the new instanced raids, these games would benefit with a cross-server functionality.

This is what I would like:

Chocobo racing (durr)
Coliseum/Fighter Square (maybe with different prizes or something. It'll get boring if you can only fight in the UD coliseum)
Tetra Master/Triple Triad
Blitzball
A place to hold seasonal events other than the City-states

They were planning on doing cross-server recruiting for battles and such. Whether they're doing it or not is another story.

Some type of sport would be great. Great way to keep the community together while waiting for new content.

Blitzball of course! :D question is: will one play solo or the whole team as in ffx?

I have over 200 hours playtime of blitzball, its the best mini-game of all times :P
