XD I been playing FF8. I normally play all FFs in order I beat FF7 last Dec. I play them when I'm bored and want to kill a lil time. It is always a treat though to rewatch the CSs. This is a great post. Can only hope FF14: ARR will deliver the same quality scenes we all learned to know.

FFXII Ending (scroll to 1.35 in the video to see Basch's highly fitting ending). Although Balthier was my favourite character, Basch was a close second because his unwavering sense of duty was everything to him. He had failed to protect his mother, his homeland, and his king... but in the end he was given a new purpose that restored his honor as a true protector.

I loved FFXII for several reasons and it remains one of my very favourite FF games... the excellent story, the excellent environs of Ivalice and the excellent gambit battle system (that was actually a very polished A.I infused version of FFXI's macro battle system).
