I do agree however that more info would be nice.

Yoshi said he was going to be making a post about companies awhile ago. People can argue about how they don't want to put anything out there until everything's finalized, but really? Are things that shaky that anything can be totally discarded simply because some small thing didn't go as planned?

Information is information, and I'd like more of it.

I agree. Tbh (and this is a rule i hold for everyone, but using poor Belgian as an example), if I disagree with him, i'll call him on it. If i agree with him, or have a similar view from a different angle, i would gladly share my opinion.

I'm waiting for SE to give me one more reason to return. One GOOD reason. I know there are quests now and will be more with every update. Its something else. Keeps me busy. Companies are coming. Yoshi seems pretty proud of it and he's an MMO player.
I'll be coming back very soon. I never planned on staying away. I just don't want my first playthrough to be what it has been. It has been hard to wait but i'm glad i did.

I wish they would tell us more stuff about the game. Give us a good talking to about Ishgard please. They never talk about Ishgard.

I don't see the need for daily reports about Dev progress. Once a week, sure, but daily? There's just no need for that level of micro-management by the player base.

I also can't realistically expect them to give us a 6 month timeline of changes. Not because they want to hold information back, but I don't think they know where they're going to be in 6 months.

Besides that, if they released a timeline, and had to makes revisions to it for whatever reason, there'd be plenty of threads along the lines of, "Why did they change the timeline?!" And I'd expect the most active one to have been started by BelgianRofl.

Yeah, we're all fatigued waiting for updates, but do we have to be on them 100% of the time demanding more? If it's not updates, it's information about what they're doing. Hell, why not just set up a webcam in their office so we can monitor them at all times. If someone takes too long of a bathroom break, we'll start a thread to reprimand them for it and claim it's our newest excuse to /ragequit.

I don't see why FFXI team can't help out FFXIV team? When FFXIV being release before Alpha FFXI team was working on both FFXI and FFXIV. I don't see why they can't give some work flow to FFXI team there pretty much doing jack right now doing few update here and there noting as big as they need for FFXIV.

I say SE should really hire more ppl from other part of the company and fix this game it up to all of the ppl in the company best interest to make FFXIV work. Maybe with the helping hand they can release more patch per month then just one big patch cut in two.

That's absolutely true.

Go to GameFAQs. Three months ago there were people whining, and lots of trolls, but there was also the dedicated following of people that helped others, talked about the game, and were generally positive. Now, those people have either given up, or just left outright, and all that's left there now is nothing but trolls and maybe one or two new people that don't know any better.

Sorry but guys what do you want? SE is working on these it si vague because it takes time. They can give you concrete info but then delay it. And you still would be made. I'll chalk this up with no one truely u nderstanding how games are made, the process of of things.

Honestly alot has changed from launch till now, you guys kinda to complainy to notice. Sorry but asking for a mirical isn't going to happen. Stuff takes time. What they are doing isn't easy. they are pretty much remaking this game. for a 3rd time. the battle system changed once before. As for content that is subjective. And everyone wanted npc quests. And you got them. Not SE fault you over speculayed them. Or don't truely recall ffxi quests.

Udates are happening in a timely manner. Just learn to enjoy it and stop thinking of the past ffxiv is nor will ever be ffxiv. And that is the biggest issue. PPl stuck in the past. SO SE has to remake this game because of it.

Timeline is a very bad idea because if they encounter problems and can't stick to the Timeline, then people get all pissy and b**** and moan.

They had to redesign the battle system... give them a god damned break.
