At least 90% of items I see in bazaars are up for 999,999,999 if I see something for a reasonable price I am shocked, I used to check bazaars all the time, but after all the 999,999,999 I have stopped because I will not find anything.

there's only a few issues i have with the list actually.
1. them removing the color from the item. like i use multiple felt bracers for different classes. i have a blue and regular just because it makes changing to the correct item when using a macro work more smoothly. this does allow me to dictate exactly which set of gloves i want to use. if i'm on my mnk i use my blue set because it's multi melded str and on my drg i use my multi melded attack power. this allows me to be sure my macro equips the correct item when changing gear.
2. the only items that doesn't take inventory are the items equipped. i carry over 150 pieces of gear on me most times. granted that's every class and its full set of gear, but with a total of 100 inventory i thought they were giving ways to help gear reduce your inventory space.
other than those 2 issues the list seems to be pretty good. those 2 issues could make a severe negative impact on me.
How do you know SE has not one good reason for removing player bazaars? Did you personally interview yoshida?
How can you claim that changes to underwear and waist display is purely on a cosmetic level when the op explicitly explains :
Maybe YOU are the one who did not read the announcement.
that are acquired after completing a quest. also take into account for most classes to be the most efficient inside an encounter you will have mulitple pieces of gear you will use. i don't think the gearsets will be with you to start with.
just use av/cc parts i use my lightning brand/ aubreist's allegory with mage's ring, zircon ring, and spinel choker and other parts i'll be using garuda's van, black pearl ring, black pearl ring, flame choker. add that up with several classes and having 4-5 pieces you have extra for each class and you have alot of extra inventory you will be taking up.
They are using the justification that because NPC prices will be reduced to 1/10 we only need 1/10 of our current bank to survive as before. SE is using this to justify a partial Gil wipe. This justification would be valid if the game was based upon an NPC economy that SE can control. It is not! The game will still be a free market economy controlled mostly by the players. Supply and Demand will still rule and exorbitant pricing will still exist. Only problem is rewards will be reduced to 1/10 forcing many players to spend a vast majority of their time farming or crafting to survive instead of enjoying all the new content. Sorry but to me this was just window dressing to justify a partial Gil Wipe.
