Well technically the current world is coming to an end and to make that effect look true they are making certain mobs appear in mass quantity around specific aether points. Though it can hinder play that is not the design behind it obviously, but it is a hint of lore. Why do said creatures gather at Aether points? I think I understand why, but do you? (Though I don't generally follow the lore or story in FFXIV because the massive wall of text and no voice overs on big scenes thank god for 2.0)

ok... what? When has this been a common theme for cactuars? I can only think of a few instances where they had their own backstory, and I don't remember it involving disasters. Granted I wasn't exactly looking for it.

so they messing the game up there is no reason why they cant have some fun too b4 it gets shut down and who care about playing have fun for the last month and try to kill some of those caturs with your ls as well might be fun
