Isn't it great when the majority get a worse exp to accomodate a small group of people? Why are these things not a toggle, esp the mount tilt! The tilt is hardly there, the whole feature is all but gone.

As much as I liked the original arena, I do think it's pretty great the devs were so quick to correct something that caused such a serious problem. Now people can play without vomiting on their keyboards.

Compared to 7.0 it's like 99% reduced. Was it a little too goofy? Maybe, but it also was sooo much fun. And now after the update I'm back to alt-tabbing whenever I need to fly somewhere... So yeah gone for me cause I can't see it when I'm alt-tabbed even if 1% is still there. Same with the battlefield. It was so pretty that I was looking down the entire fight, but now I dunno...

Will someone unsub because they don't get cool arena in an optional alliance raid? No.

It was never more than 45 degrees. The picture I posted is 45 degrees. That's a 0% difference, not 99%. What changed is how fast it goes to 45 degrees--before it took naught but a breath to get 45 degrees, now you can choose 10 for yourself, or 25, or the full 45 if you're on a winged mount and turn quickly. We GOT the toggle, in a way...people can turn it off entirely with a checkbox, or they can turn as steeply as they want by controlling their turn speed (provided the mount supports it). While I get some people liked how it was before, saying 'it's virtually gone! it's only 1% there!' now is such an exaggeration that for a long time I honestly thought people couldn't get their mounts to tilt at all due to some bug.

Maybe give it a try again. Soar gently. Swoop around in sharp banking turns. Maybe you'll find it can still be fun with more control over the tilt.

The battlefield did look pretty. It was amazing looking. It was also causing some people debilitating illness and changing it was a quick texture swap. No brainer for SE to change it. It's kind of a shame it's gone, but now more people can play it. And you did get to see it in its original state, so you have that.

Um yes? It's the same angle, but the speed is 99% slower. Why would I swoop around when in this game you always travel from point A to point B in a straight line? Especially during the hunt, I'm just gonna miss all the marks cause flying around just to see the tilt will slow me down.
