I think the issue is less the game and more the fact people force others to use it.

Arguably, I think FT/BA is much harder without voice than Savage (as long as the Savage has a guide already, blind can be a bit iffy if you're at different prog points), but that's because dealing with 47 other individuals requires a lot of patience. PF Savage is perfectly fine, and while shit like M6S on release made me wanna punch a striking dummy, it was doable. FT is also doable now that there are established strats and sniping is impossible, because that means you can blacklist bad actors and make progress without needing callouts. I did my first couple runs with voice, including the ones I hosted, but eventually I muted/deafened for everything that wasn't boss 4, and even that I eventually stopped. I agree that some people overdo the discord stuff, but I also feel like it comes from bad players being unable to play without callouts. Give us the ability to blacklist them better, and group content becomes easily manageable without voice.
