You forgot to mention that your job is going to lose a skill to make space for the finisher action so it's going to feel even more terrible to play at lower levels.

How I would do it, take all of the mitigations and enhancement (EXCEPT personal buffs), spell speed, skill speed buffs, mitigations, etc and then give them to the healers. Healers wouldn’t do dps but would augment the groups dps, mitigation, etc. this would keep healers very busy and dps / tanks could get a flashy new dps ability in exchange. Healers would also get a buff charge bar that could be used beyond the normal stuff to have a super heal, mitigation or dps buff, their choice based on the situation.

Sounds about right.
Something that really needs fixing is the amount of abilities and skills, they need to simplify jobs, there are too many useless buttons that don't do much in battle.
I'm hoping we'll learn if Gaius really defeated the two Ascians he fought.
