But the point is this isn’t designed to draw in the “I’m still in ARR” sprouts. The roulettes literally exist already so we can help these people. But now a veteran retention event has basically turned the levelling roulette into the “sub 50 learning roulette” because ARR dungeons are on the event even though this event is specifically for veterans and not sprouts and veterans are sick of dzemeal darkhold and praetorium

Putting ARR content in here doesn’t encourage anyone to do anything, it just encourages sprouts to continue using the levelling roulette to fill queues into mindless ARR stuff without actually encouraging progression while not helping veterans because their queues still spit out the same garbage as before

Things need to be put mildly out of reach of sprouts to encourage them to progress, not languish in ARR and veterans need rarer content. This is why eden and ivalice fit perfectly here as does HOH as the ultimog challenge and the fate mining biasing ShB. They just need to delete the sub 50 trash from the event because all that does is benefit mostly non sub paying ARR sprouts who are the antithesis of this event at the detriment of everyone else

It's purpose is to make veterans sign up for and fill roles in old content, not to give "I have a life, job, wife and a kid (TM)" sprouts or f2p people a farming playground.

This event shouldn't even exist. It gets you to do old, useless content for a few old items to hook your dopamine receptors.

If there's nothing to do in the game, QUIT. Retention strategies are anti-consumer and this trash game does not deserve your money.

The guy who literally can't pry himself away from the game he hates should be the last person telling people to quit.

Honestly.. Event should've had "Clear Floor 50 of Palace of the Dead" in there as a secondary Ultimog challenge, seeing as it is a requirement for Heaven on High, and has notoriously poor queue times.

Heaven on High should've also been to clear floor 30, that way it favors going in as a matched party versus a fixed party, which is required to get floor 50 anyway.

How pitiable does a life need to be to dedicate a significant chunk of it to spreading hate and anger on an online forum? 195 posts in a month, my friend. You should seek professional help. Your behavior is abnormal and disturbed. I feel sorry for you.

I just love how white knights no longer have anything to say other than personal attacks. Really shows just how shit the game is now and they really can't come up with any defense.

How is the overhaul made the grind worse? Am i missing something? Im not even asking this in a bad way i genuinely dont understand where you are coming from with this.

All the "overhaul" was, that it gave us some weekly objectives that can be usually completed within 20 minutes and it gives us like 5 praetorium worth of tomestones for doing 1 specific task.
The old system was just random ARR stuff blessed by the mog icon and it rewarded you with 2-5 tomes upon completion. This is still part of the event. You can still run around with blue mages and nuke everything if u prefer it that way.

If anything the overhaul made the grind less stressful since you can complete the weeklies and still collect hundreds of tomestones by the end of the event without even touching a single ARR dungeon.
