Unskippable Ads in FFXIV

Modders would just create an Ad Blocker

What's more sad than an obvious troll thread?

An obvious troll thread that you can see what inspired the person to make it. Someone read the articles on Valve forbiding those practises and just made this. Even trolls have creative bankruptcy.

Any ad blocker can be counter by having a loop of Wuk Lamat going naughty naughty and doing a finger wave.

Imagine the revenue they'd get from raiders where the "door boss" leading to phase 2 of the final fight of each tier was an ad instead of a cutscene.

I'm sure they would figure a way to skip the ads, just like how people figured out a way to skip the "unskippable" praetorium ones.
