Because I hopped immediately onto that discord required PF I found. There is no way I'd do this shit with people fumbling around blind. I joined them midway through day 1 because I knew this would be my best chance to learn, prog and potentially clear. It's best for the team to be on VC, even if you're muted, even if 2 people communicate and even if it's just a raid lead doing call outs...is alot better than no organization.
It's inevitable that someone of the 24 man will make an oopsie. Alot of times even in organized setting some a death or 2 would snowball into a wipe.
I really feel for people in PF who just want to prog and no one is respecting each other's time. One guy joins, stays for 1 pull, 'sorry guys dinner'. Bro, if you have dinner soon why commit to a prog party. I got sick of waiting OUTSIDE the fight because people keep leaving. Being in a discord at least guarantees that this person who joined is somewhat motivated to learn and people are okay with others making mistakes. Yes, mistakes will be pointed out and it has to be. People need to keep an eye on their alliance members and help them not yolo it because that's how wipes happen. 2 people adjust to each other and end up dying or killing others which snowballs into a wipe.
This thing has more PVP than actual PVP modes in this game...
