FF14 director Yoshida asks fans not to “attack” Wuk Lamat actress

So uh, round 5 or 6 with this vapid nonsense? What is there to even add to this anymore.

Sena is a bad VA.

Wuk Lamak is a bad character.

Kate is a bad director for appointing a bad VA to a bad role.

When you put bad on top of bad, the bad don't simply scale linearly but exponential due to resonance effect.

If Yoshi and his team recognize that, they they can fix the bad, then I'll listen to what they have to say. Until then, anything beside that is nothing but deflection and detraction.

True. A poorly written annoying character, a terrible voice acting performance and a hateful personality broadcasted on a professional Twitter account are separate things that have nothing to do with each other, and therefore warrant separate critiques.

Apparently it's ok for a public representative of a company to spout toxic nonsense and to be misogynistic and sexist because there part of a group and people will defend there behavior. I don't agree with doing death threats but she is kind of bringing this stuff onto herself instead of keeping quiet and wondering why people are being toxic back.

As a member of the lgbtq community, I was on top of defending her for a long while. But after looking at her twitter and her online presence, nope, she is on her own. What a just absolutely trash human being she is. I will not defend a horrible person just because she is trans.

Even her supposedly trans-positive arguements are bad. A cis woman shouldn't play a trans role because trans roles should only go to trans actresses? Was Wuk trans? Cause what is she doing playing a cis role? It's a two way street. While you shouldn't be threatening death on someone, she makes it really difficult to be on her side or defend her.

Her and people like her are making the rest of our lives more difficult by association. She is doing the exact opposite of what she is claiming she is trying to do.

Looks like the North American team is getting away with being inflammatory on social media just cause they are part of the LGBT mafia. Funny how Kate recently made her account private after her hate campaign against several people. Including Sena.

It seems lately yoship hasn't been his usual self since the release of dawntrail with recently being dismissive of feedback of the story and writing quality saying people "just don't understand Japanese writing styles" or claiming people don't like wuk lamat because of "parent complex" or something or not being confidant enough. To now defending and turning a blind eye to a voice actors toxic twitter/public attitude and Kates bad localization/hiring practices and hiring her twitter friends.

He's defending his paycheck, pretty sure that is what is going on. I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt that he knows what the pecking order in the office and he saw certain consultants walking through with management telling him what the deal is. Be quiet and take the money.

The amount of rats asses I give about PR grandstanding in response to continued, constant criticism on the state of the game is so small you'd need an electron microscope to see them.

Talk more about class design, tell me when the next live letter will be, etc. If I have to hear or read 'MSQ', 'Sena', or 'Lamat' again I'm going to rip the M.2 drive containing FFXIV out of my PC and eat it like a tortilla chip.

He should ask his dev team to play healers instead.
