I would also love for him to say they are firing the English VA director who clearly did not understand their job... or just never bothered to do it.

Mmh, that's a hard question.
Maybe..., that the story in the patches will really be the vacation adventure (for our WoL) they announced to us before.
And that Wuk Lamat won't be part of it like before.
It would be also nice if they would say that they have a bigger team now and that the future patches don't need over 4 month.
The MSQ wasn't that good and for non raiders there is not really something exciting to do now. So it would be great if more exciting content would come fast.
Personally, I'm looking forward to hearing about what's planned for the relic path, and what kinda contents we can expect outside of the usual MSQ, dungeons, raids, a-raids and trials. What new diversions are coming down the pipeline to last us the next couple of years.
Also, as an FFXI vet, I'm eager to hear more about the upcoming a-raid ^_^
Pretty much this. And besides, there isn't anything really to apologize for.
Some people like the MSQ, some people don't, so what.
The very idea an apology should be issued is laughable.
what i actually would want to see is a statement for some topics of this forum. People are angry and frustrated, silince and ignoring will just lead to people leave the game ( or they actually left ) but for a long time it will be damage for the game we all want to survive more then 4 more years or smth. So adressig peoples cririques instead of new stuff.

I mean same happened to me, by the time I finished ShB, my friends stopped playing. I didn't care though because if I had rushed the story to play together I would've been bored out of my mind and likely regretted it. There's story skips and job boosts if people lack the patience to sit through it. I leveled a few characters up to EW out of boredom and maxed out their jobs, I'll tell you the game will work against you if you try to rush it. It's not really a problem. It's just the nature of it being story focused.
Most dialogue can be skipped. I was able to finish base ARR in like a day because I made a new char in NA with my friend and wanted the regalia to carry him around so I rushed the story. However, the 'experience' won't be pleasant, which makes sense.
For sprouts there's the Road to 90 (or w.e level) which is a huge exp buff that guarantees that you're overleveled all the time.
my thoughts have been we have to do a stat squish next expansion since if we dont our stats are going to be utterly wild.
with that in mind and the fact that we want to keep the game closer to traditional aka no lvl 110 bring a lvl squish with it and move all skills from 50-100 to lvl 50 and bam you have all your skills right at the end of ARR aka the tutorial, and while they are at it they can disconnect the story of lvl 50-100 from the next expansion so players can start right up with their friends.
i feel this ends up a win-win for everyone overall.
