What was melded to it? STR?
It looks like you've used a triple meld skirmish axe for testing. A double meld is much more realistic for testing purposes as not many will ever see a triple meld skirmish weapon. Could you possibly add in the double melded results?
Uh, I don't have one? I never said it wasn't true, I'm okay with being slapped by parse tests and this wouldn't be the first time I was wrong about something (I'm not egotistical so I can say that.) I was more asking for a layman's explanation of the tests conclusions as opposed to charts that I can't figure out, not disagreeing with Molly. I was never any good with charts.
But I will note that 70+ attack power melds are beyond my given example. If someone can triple meld those things that's pretty fair that they would be strong weapons.
Hi ^^
I dont understand 2 little things, maybe you can explain them to me :
1) Considering that DPS change the cap for your WS dmg and considering that 0.01 DPS dont always have the same value (i mean the gain is not linear and we dont know what is the WS cap for each weapon), how can you compare weapons ? Have you counted a 350 str / 310 xxx for all weapons ? When i read the sheet, i feel like something is wrong with this part.
2) Considering that WS dmg are for most job the primary source of dmg, how can you say that this axe are better than garuda/lt weapons, when they both have a better "WS value" in your own sheet ?
It also doesnt seem to properly factor in things like losing accuracy, which if i had to swap out my garuda axe it becomes more difficult to maintain stat caps while hitting at a decent rate. Combined with the fact that by using throwing weapons after auto attacks and mid combo I am to a point of using about 75+% weaponskills (or higher, especially with TP song) on warrior in any given fight. Factor in higher weaponskill damage and higher cap along with the base accuracy, I really doubt a skirmish axe is gonna pass it.
Aaaargh
Can someone explain to me Molly's numbers?!
I'm very bad at math and that table has horrible formatting
