But isn't the trust system an option? You don't have to use trust to advance through the game. And at no point did I say "Your points are bad I don't like them." I was asking a genuine question.

Got to agree. I would be nice that all zones are available and you can explore and by exploring I mean you don't need a quest to unlock a optional dungeon you just find one and be like : Hey, haven't seen this place before

You get in q and you get in and if later you find the quest for the dungeon you just did could be an item an NPC need that you get from completing the dungeon so if you kept it you can just give it to them and completle the quest or redo it IDK

The main story is fine but all the optional content is tied to it and sometime its optional content that is needed for the main story like with the CT raid if you wanna get to HW for exemple

An other thing that I think is that the optional quest dosen't reward you much for people to really be into it. could give some gear coffer pieces that could be interesting that give you idk a chest lv93 coffer

Complaining about the MSQ in FF14 is like complaining about cars in Forza or guns in Counter Strike.

the trust is optional. but the horrible combat and dungeons arent. and those are also hand holding

You can't expect Final Fantasy to stop its own unique gameplay to be like every other MMO on the market, at that point it's not even its own game just a copy-paste of a bunch of other games. Imagine every MMO playing the exact same way FF14 does or like WoW does with no type of uniqueness between them. It's like eating the same hotdog over and over again.

XIV copy pasted Wow's combat system. It's just slower

Groups would die. Then they would kick the tank or the healer, whichever one they blamed at that moment, and wait for the next one.
