Mudra why so many ninja don't use them?

Because they simply don't know how to. I'm a horrible ninja but even ik that unless your maintaining suiton u allways wanna use raitons

As an avid casual NIN enjoyer, it comes down to muscle memory & proper hotbar setup. I set my Ninjutsu, Ten, Chi, & Jin hotkeys side by side and imagine them as "1 2 3 4". After that I memorize the mudras order as the following:

2 3 1 = Raiton
3 2 1 = Katon
2 4 1 = Hyoton
2 3 4 1 = Suiton
2 4 3 1 = Doton
4 3 2 1 = Huton

Once you remember, you'll never fail any inputs anymore.

I made a term for these ninjas when talking with my friendos in VC: STD Ninjas (Single-target Dotons).

Tried It once in pve, then l went back to summoner.

I just have macros that re-order the mudras on the hotbar for the one I want to use. Works really well, and doesn't delay the GCD at all. I usually only need to press it once and leave it for ages because I'm mostly using Raiton for ST and Katon for AoE.

I could probably get used to them with how much I've played it lately, but no point because the macros work really well.

For 90% of your NIN life you only need 2 jutsus for ST and 2 for MT, and a simple 1 2 3 order for TCJ.
Mudras aren't rocket science. Instead of blaming the mechanic just try harder, because there are a lot of activities IRL that require way more memorization and coordination than that to make this anywhere near as this serious complex input as you're making it out to be.

If you're one of them "but i play to relax I want to shut my brain offf!!!!!" then just play another job. God knows this game only has a handful that appeal to players who like a layer of jank or skill floor to their playstyle anyway.

Exactly!

What's so hard about hitting numbers in sequence? I play Ninja once in a blue moon and even I know to use my mudras. Hell, I almost have my hotbar setup like that except my Ten, Chi, & Jin keys are after the main combo.

Hell, worse comes to worse, just macro the thing(s) so you aren't missing out on your job's core identifying mechanic. /joke
