Comments like that just serve to remind me why not having a proper chat is preferable. If people have no ounce of sportsmanship then they shouldn't talk in my opinion. The game is almost always binary. One side will loose. Doesn't give anyone the right the be a d***. What's next? Don't play PvP if you don't like getting getting insulted? Some people really need to learn to take a loss not the other way around.

my guy he didnt insult him, he sent about 10 lines of pre-made chat and we dont even see the timeframe in which that happened, for anything we know it could have been a time frame of 15 minutes, there's no time on the screenshot, you're just assuming based on what you see and what OP says.

idk about FFXIV, but in League of Legends, when someone starting putting "good job" when you died over and over again, they had basically given up and were just looking to make everyone else as miserable as they were.

If repeated text message in party chat trigger someone that much, I recommend not participating in pvp mode for some time to recharge the batteries, and then come back when they can withstand few games before getting triggered again.

or maybe playing pvp mode in rpgmmo is not the best idea.

First, thats reportable. So do your citizenship duty and to the authorities.
But this is the world we live in after the shutdown of the chat, which to this day has been a point of contingency between players.

And that said: This spam shouldn't be considered reportable, being able to vent/release frustration is also part of PvP in general... And is not, from a psychological standpoint, negative - in fact quite the contrary. It might be toxic... To some: I really don't care.


People throwing, that should be absolutely reportable as griefing.

Didn't you assume OP was throwing? lol Be that as it may, my point still stands. Competitive play doesn't equal anything goes. Look no further than League to see where that line of thinking ends.
