Because you want FFXIV to be like those games that already has frustrated its playerbase? It's frustrating enough that people constantly ask for grinds and without fail everything a game implements those desires it's just kills the game

Very insightful. Much comeback.
Stop trying to make your argument by saying that people want some Lost Ark level of grind, nobody said that they want to farm daily for 8 hours a day just to get BiS or whatever you grind for in that game. Some people just want some long term grinds and some longer lasting content, that's all. You already have so much one and done content in game, just do that and then go play another game. Your comments are 0% arguments, 50% filler, 40% hyperboles and whataboutism, and 10% insults. Get a grip.
You ignore how in a previous post I didn't support the EW relic design. I want designs that meaningful variable steps not just spamming a single instance everything for an item. It's mindless.
I actually advocate for a return of some of the step designs of ARR relics (not the books...well or at least just having to do one) since many of its steps have some substance to it. They just need to be lessened
You know why people are tired of grinding in WoW or Diablo 4? Because those have historically been mandatory grinds that players were/are forced to complete every week, every patch, every season to keep their characters viable for the newest content.
Has there ever been a massive grind in XIV that you HAD to do? Relics were always optional, Eureka was entirely optional, Bozja was entirely optional.
Nobody is for example complaining about GW2's legendary grind, as Deo already mentioned, because you don't actually NEED those legendaries. They aren't in any way better than Ascended gear, just more convenient for alt characters once you have them.
The fact that people throw a fit over the request to add an activity with meaningful long-term rewards that you can invest time into, but which is entirely optional, is pretty hilarious to me.
And no, I am not counting these mindless "complete activity X 5000 times" achievements as meaningful grinds.
