Yo, please stop. Its a VIDEO GAME, its not a scholarship to college, etc. There's more to life than obsessing over FF14, I love the game but please find other hobbies to also enjoy rather than nitpick the most asinine, irrelevant miniscule "issues"

You do know, speaking as a Japanese, that there are no 'past wrongs' or 'oppression ' to redress as far as the actual country the game is made in, right? Unless you think the entire world needs to somehow pay for or join in being sorry for the wrongs of just one? Don't forget this is a global game, and the sensibilities of one country don't, and need not, dictate the actions of others.

It's not nitpicking, it's a suggestion. And although it may seem "miniscule" to you, these little concessions add up and together promote a more harmonious society.

Not a dictation, but a suggestion. And there are many underprivileged players and underserved communities in Japan too, such as the Okinawan and other Pacific Islander communities. In Europe, North Africans and Turkish people are also discriminated against in society. Finally, let's also not forget about the severity of poverty globally. Even in advanced nations like AmeriKKa, poverty is still an issue, and we as a society can do more to help those in poverty have access to quality entertainment just like everyone else. It is precisely because this is a global game that Square Enix should consider giving discounts to underprivileged players of all types across the globe.

Certain people prove almost daily, that the internet and social media was a mistake.
