This is exactly what my first thought was. Dungeon set, will not buy. Which is not a bad thing imo, it's good to have nice dungeon sets for free. Maybe someone else finds this suitable enough for their character that they will spend money on it.

Is dyeable? Is nots onesie?
Meh. I hate capes in video games, they are overrated and clip with arms, feet, tails, weapons, etc.
I would not mind capes so much if they had realistic physics applied to them. Instead, we have pseudo-physics and everything clips with them.
Maybe it's just me; but, isn't this glam set just another "A Frame" design like a lot of gear already in the game? I don't see anything which would entice me to purchase this gear.
Wow, this set looks great! Tempting!
Welp...so much for that. While some may not care, I actually am not going to spend cash on items that remove core features of my race - in this case a tail that otherwise would not be confined in the pants of this outfit.
I'm not even strictly against MTX in general, but $18 for a glamour set is laughable, no matter how many justifications you try to pull. Just to put it in perspective, Steam has summer sales right now, for those $18 (to be fair, for me it says 13.5 euro, idk what's the deal with this pricing), you could get either of these games and still have few bucks left:
Halo: Master Chief Collection - 10
Need for Speed: Heat - 14
Hades - 12.25
Dragon Age: Inquisition - 10
Mafia 1 remake - 14
Divinity: Original Sin II - 18
Metro Exodus - 6
Yakuza: Like a Dragon - 15
Monster Hunter Rise - 16
Subnautica/Below Zero - 9.89
Teraria - 5
Skyrim:SE - 10
Witcher 3 - 9 (GotY 2015)
It Takes Two - 16 (GotY 2021)
Ark - 4.19
Anno 1800 - 15
Valheim - 12
Assassin's Creed: Odyssey - 12
Horizon Zero Dawn - 16.49
Doom Eternal - 13.19
FFXV 17.49
If you want to go slightly over $18, you can get:
Red Dead Redemption 2 - 19.79
Nier: Automata - 20
Stray - 21
Detroit: Become Human - 20
... and much more.
So it's up to you if you want to spend your money on single mediocre set in FFXIV, or buy something like Witcher 3 or It Takes Two, both of which were GotY, or even FFXV, which gets a lot of flak, but nowadays it's honestly 7/10 at it's worst, but realistically still 8+/10 game.
Nice set, but dying all in one color like that looks terrible.
