If someone's reaction to people being annoyed that they consistently do their job poorly over a prolonged period of time... is to cross their arms, sit down, and say, "Fine! Then I won't do my job at all!" ... then, er... I can't say I have much sympathy.

That said, because this is Square-Enix, it's probably best to start with the assumption that the moderators "want" to do their job well, but are hamstrung by some combination of being understaffed, underpaid, operating under a ridiculous amount of bureaucratic overhead and regulations, or otherwise just being hampered by all the usual convolutions that service-level employees are subjected to in, or when employed by, large corporations... especially large Japanese corporations, where it probably requires an entire Shadowbringers-length questline just to ask a supervisor a question.

I agree. Someone said it was a dozen or so people causing problems but honestly I think its around four or five people total, who hate the game but refuse to stop playing it and/or paying for it and move on to a new hobby.

Its nice to see some action being taken, even if we really need much more direct action taken moderation. I get that trolling will always be a thing on forums like this, but it has turned very vicious and vindictive of late, from actively targeting users with sick insults, not to mention the constant use of LGBTQ+ issues as a shield to stoke the angry in almost ever viewpoint. Its sad because this could be a great community hub, but this just hurt everyone involved outside of a few immature edge lords.

For better or worse, y'all need to consider that making threads such as these only serve to encourage the behavior more than it does anything else,

The behavior honestly is already so out of control, I don't think this thread's presence will influence the types of threads being made by antagonistic posters. But it is nice to see how many people here have really just had enough, and it's encouraging to see at least some small steps to rectifying it.

I'll continue with my reporting where I feel it is appropriate.

I got a suspension from the forums because I told someone that no one gave a flying (rhymes with truck) about their ultimate clears. Yet that person kept on trolling, and calling people who didn't clear ultimates trash and insulting them non-stop, didn't get anything done to them.
