A vegan playthrough of FF14 is essentially impossible

If a wolf-monster-bear animal is trying to take your life, you defending yourself isn't uh... not vegan. Just don't eat it!

I suppose it is impossible considering a fantasy world with mass starvation and wars would most likely not have any idea what 'vegan' is or have a choice in what food is produced for them.

I don’t want to be a killjoy but isn’t this the sort of point where mods should really start banning people. They are clearly making threads with no actual goal other then to stir like we know the user doesn’t give a flying **** about the topic they’re pushing and it’s fine deliberately to stay relevant which is rather sad. This whole forum needs to be closed down and purged and then thread approved I think (oh but they could approve only threads they want to see… it would be better then this)

I believe we have passed the point where actual consistent and savvy moderation would be of use a long time ago. Welcome to the General Trolling section, where it's about 3 people making 70% of the threads and they don't mean ANYTHING!

One could argue that killing/eating animals in this game actually IS vegan, because they're all just Ancient-made constructs. ¯\(ツ)/¯

Surely a lifestyle as a vegan is so ethical that the lack of mental distraction aka entertainment shouldn’t affect you in the least.

A vegan doesnt want to kill any animal anyway, but on that, humans are also animals in that argument... any vegan disagreeing here is not vegan. Otherwise canibalism would be allowed by vegans as well, which doesnt make any sense.
