MMO's attract people from all over the world from many different backgrounds, cultures, countries and belief systems. I've only brought up these points when people insult me without knowing a thing about me. I have a great life and a lot of accomplishments. Probaly more than those who insult me here. I don't care if I sound smug. Seems like people care more about that than how people aggressively insult and dismiss other posters, or pretend they can't comprehend posts that really have no difficult-to-understand content, simply because they disagree.

I think you underestimate about how easy it is to not really care what a certain quality of poster here thinks of you. I tend to get quoted and descended upon very often in these forums, it's all old hat to me.

little ublock origin tip if you use it. The line "forum.square-enix.com##li:has-text(is on your)" without quotes added to your filters will remove all posts from users in your ignore list. You won't see a massive list of white anymore in threads like these, just the posts from users that aren't blocked.

it's not perfect, you might want to use "This message is hidden because" instead in the brackets. As it is, if someone says that exact phrase, it'll be blocked lol. it was a rush job, i haven't messed around to make it better yet. Basically whatever is inside those brackets will be filtered out.

j/k, you're right. It's very difficult to get any sort of nuance on internet forums. You have to actively ignore those being antagonistic while trying to respond to those that aren't. It gets messy very quickly. I've started just blocking everyone that gets that way. You're welcome to write whatever fanfic you want, really. However, I'm pretty sure I have been fairly transparent with regard to this. This is just simply the environment this place has cast upon itself, and everyone is equally responsible for that, including both of us.

If you think what you've been doing is anything different from what everyone else has been doing (bar your obsessive behaviour with stalking peoples' post history) , then you're no less a hypocrite when compared to anyone else.

The real problem is that people that see the currents problems acts as if everything was shit in the game while those who haven't noticed them (it's hard to notice if you're not up to date with the content) act as if there was no problem. Yes, overall the state of the game pretty good, but still EW patch are pretty much disappointing, especially compared to those of ShB. MSQ feels more and more filler, several story line were cut off (even if the content is still technically there), and the lack of a proper long running content during the patch is strongly felt.
