If "wasting time" is a concern, playing an MMORPG is one gigantic waste of time in all honesty.
When I see how many hours I have logged with FF14, I end up thinking "If I used all that time to do something more productive..."
I could even be fluent in Latin, and that would be so useful... I can argue in internet forums how the use of Latin is wrong in Harry Potter books, etc which would be a great way to spend my time.

Ya I mean isn't that the point in gaming in general to kill time to distract your mind. Hopefully on play through. Your set goal then log out and do something else.
