Throne and Liberty Next Gen MMOs

All they show is good in paper. I want it to work but we see. We don't know how well this play in to the game. There was games before that wanted to do things like this only for it to be relevant after you see it 2 times.
As for adding it to FF14, doubt a 10 years old game can do it.

It seems like they're saying it's all one area, no boundaries, no dotted line zone transitions all over the place.

NCSoft? Nah. They make games that are decent till the paywall hits. I'm good.

Yoshi does take one thing from Korean mmo, the historically inaccurate obsession of Medieval Europe.

City of Heroes was perhaps NC's best title.

Layering is something that does not show up in many, if any new mmo. That would be cool to have in an mmo.

City of Heroes distant cousin Champions Online had Freeform. Basically, create your own class by taking any ability/skills from any other class. For some reason, it was not broken......

XIV is low-key kind of old.......their next project may be revealed by the time the LoL MMO releases.

KMMO's are and always have been mid. no cap, frfr, on god.

That's the Final Fantasy series in a nutshell though.

There are barely any ministers present, it feels like almost every monarchy in the older games were absolute.
So Cagnazzo commits regicide, Cecil kills him, then yeets off into space and there's no one around to deal with the throne while he's gone?
We beat up world leaders without giving a second thought as to the implications after.
On what planet would a prince be allowed to go on a field trip with his harem unsupervised? "Oh Gladiolus can protect you", only one guy, really?

It's a successful MMO so far. Just one that I haven't played to suggest any features that would be a good idea for XIV. Last I saw some news about it was a news article from Asmon breaking his record of streamers playing it.

I mean personally country of origin doesn't matter to me. If it does to you that's your call. It doesn't matter how much junk they've released, there's always the chance good stuff can come out from past mistakes or a sudden change in direction.

Aion was insanely grindy post level 30. Lost Ark is super grindy and pay to win.

Never in my life I'm gonna touch kMMO again after they wasted my time for a grind and pay to win cash shop...
